But yes, as a fellow BIG doggie - vet bills is certainly no laughing matter! My humans have pet insurance for me but I'm on a special list of breeds that has extra high premiums. Sigh. Still, they're glad they've got it coz it has paid for itself several times over, especially since I've gotten older and with my glaucoma & heart sickies./

Going to the vets is just one reason I didn't get another dog!! Just one reason!!!!! I am so sorry Brat --are you still not doing well??????????? Bless your heart!

When I first came out of the shelter I was a treasure chest full of ailments :P Poor animals out there are dying because their owners can't afford to get their pets treated :( I'm thankful for all of the animals in blogworld who are able to share pieces of their lives through pictures and words. May they stay healthy and their owners too :D

We used to have pet insurance but found that if we just have a savings account of our own for pet care it worked out to be a better deal.

Oh Bart, I think we are still paying off Lily's vet bill after more than a year. But our furfriends are worth every penny! Hope you are doing better.
