Wordless Wednesday - Cooling Off Edition

The best thing to do on a hot day is to go sit on a sand bar in the stream!

How are you guys staying cool??

We're Back.

Hi everybody.  Sorry we've been gone.

Our publicist went down to the OC for a reunion of her cousins which we were NOT invited to...  She then went down to
 San Diego to see her niece, and more importantly OUR cousin, QUIGLEY!!

Here he is sitting on his cow.  You know that bull dogs are bred to take down bulls, right?  Quigley is super talented.

While she was in San Diego, SHE went for a walk here:

 which, by the way, we didn't get to go on because we WEREN'T INVITED...

She so owes us!!

The Most Interesting Dog in the World

He is the life of parties he has never attended...

Sharks have a week dedicated to him...

If he were to chew up your Dansko, you would have to fight off the urge to thank him...

He is the most interesting dog in the world...

Not Quite Wordless Wednesday

Our publicist finally got around to taking some new pictures of us.  Here are some of them...

Here's me and my big brothers.  They're pretty nice to me.  Especially since I can't let Mom out of my sight for even a minute...  On Sunday Bart taught me to swim in the pond.  Of course She did not have (the new, fancy schmancy) camera...

Hi.  It's me.  Gizmo.  Don't I pretty much look like a poster child for sweet rotties?  I don't look like this often...

I am the most interesting dog in the world....

Catching Up

A week or so ago we were awarded the Inspirational Blogger Award by Greyhounds CAN Sit!

Or should we say "Greyhounds CAN Dance"?  Because Beryl and Frankie rose to Honey's challenge and they both preformed a freestyle dance routine in Honey's contest "Dancing With the Doggie Stars" last month.  They both looked like they were having so much fun and Mom was very impressed with their mom's willingness to "give it a go" as they say in OZ...

We've been thinking a lot about who inspires us.  We really feel like all the bloggers we follow inspire us in one way or another by opening a small window into their lives and sharing it with the rest of us.  Each day we smile, laugh, cry, learn something, are moved by a beautiful photograph or someone's kind or astute comment.  Each of you has inspired us in one way or another - so we click the "follow" button and keep coming back.

Honey inspired 30 dance teams to try freestyle dance for the first time;
KB inspires us almost daily with jaw droppingly beautiful photographs of her world;
Wild Dingo gave us probably our biggest laugh with this post;
The OP's inspire us with their kindness to everyone;
Tank inspires us by just telling it like he sees it.  Oh, wait, sorry, The Doggie Lama...
And Miss Fern inspires us just because she does!

THANK YOU from all of us!!

And remember, my friends...

"My blood smells like cologne.

I AM the most interesting dog in the world..."

(And just in case you don't know WHAT I'm talking about, here's a link to the Most Interesting Man in the World ad campaign.)

Keep walking, my friends!
