No. We Did Not Fall Off the Face of the Earth...

We've been busy, butt life is good here at Chez RottRover.  Here are some highlights (which is also something mom puts in her hair.  Humans are confusing...)

Otto has been doing a lot of hiking

He has a new girlfriend whom he likes to hike with

Her name is Riley, and her mom thinks she might be part Dingo!
She's VERY energetic and gives The Pain - I mean Otto - a
run for his money!

Look!  She has eyes like Lightening!!

This is what Otto looks like after a hike with Riley:

~~~
Bart started physical therapy.  He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it.
You can tell by the expression on his face!
He gets to go 8 times for his arthritis in his hippers.  He's so
feeling the betterment!
~~~

Moi?

I am the QUEEN of toys.
They are ALL mine.  All of them.
It doesn't matter that I have two big brothers
who are each over 100 pounds.

Don't mess with The Ruby!!

That's the brief update.
Thank you all for the many, many Gotcha Day Messages you've left me.
I am truly blessed! I didn't know when I came to live here
that I would have SO many friends...

Love,
-Ruby

Glad to see Bart is enjoying his physical therapy! I wish there was somewhere close to us that offered it--Riley loves the water and I bet it would feel good on her hips, knees, and back!

Ruby--you better keep a good watch over those toys. Those boys BETTER NOT mess with you!!

Great hearing from you guys. Sounds like you've been busy! Ruby, sometimes you have to be a bit pushy when you have two big brothers.

We're happy Bart is responding to his therapy and feeling great.

Otto reminds us of Roxy after a morning at the river. Exhausted.

Good to hear from you. You are so right about Otto's eyes. AND they are even the same left and right:) From what we hear Otto and Lightning both have a lot in common. Lightning could use a Riley to wear him out too.

We are happy to hear that the therapy is helping Bart. And Ruby, Ciara so agrees with you. You know, girls rule and boys drool.

Yay, I'm glad that you're all okay. Otto has a fun girlfriend who wears him out - great news!

And Bart does look like he loves his PT. I'm not sure that many dogs actually love PT so that's great!

And, you, Ruby, are the Queen of the world, not just the toys!

I saw your comment - and I've been feeling the same thing, those sudden waves of intense grief. I'm sorry that you have been too.

Our Mom talks about highlights too. We don't know what she's talking about. Bart buddy, come swim with us, it's helping Morgan with her stiffness.

Ruby, good job collecting all those toys in one spot.

Otto, take it easy on those hikes, don't wear yourself out.

Hi Ruby, Bart & Otto,

Our overseas visitors left this morning so we're FINALLY starting to catch up!!! :-) Looks like you've been keeping busy - it's lovely to see Otto settling in - hey, my humans took our visitors to a wildlife park the other day and they saw some real life dingos! (Photos & videos coming soon on my blog)

Oh - and I've been doing hydrotherapy too for my arthritis although I DON'T like the water at all and I HATED going in that scary treadmill tank thing...Bart is so brave!! So now my humans just try to get me to go into a normal swimming pool...which I sort of do reluctantly...I'm just not a water dog!! ;-)

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps. Happy Belated Gotcha Day to Ruby!

Ruby! I missed your Gotcha Day! Happy Belated Gotcha Day!!!! Wow, that Otto is becoming quite the hiker and even found hisself a gurlfurrend. My sis Sydney had to do the water torture therapies years ago after her broken hip surgeries to pump up her little scrawny chicken leg that she had not been able to walkies on. The water tortures did beef her leg up all nicely but Sydney swore they was drowning her in that water torture chamber. I do think some mud would make it less torturesome.

So glad to see you guys are back! Riley looks like Frankie's kind of girl, I wonder if she could wear him out? Interesting blue eye, I didn't notice it the first time I looked at her photo.

Awesome that Bart is enjoying his PT and that it's doing him good. You're looking beautiful there Ruby. I love how you don't destroy your toys!

I don't know what's happened but it feels like a lot of our bloggie friends are falling on frantic times. Glad to hear everything is a-okay.

But can I just ask - are you serious about Bart just loving the underwater treadmill? How is that fair - poor Bella thought we were doing it for no other reason than to torture her poor little heart. Ah to have a normal dog....

Love that Otto is settling in. Good job to all of you.

And smooches to the Queen. :)
