Early Morning Walk

Since it was 110F yesterday,
we got The Publicist
to take us for a walk early
this morning.

It was beautiful.  And only about 85!

We're gonna get her to take us again tomorrow!

Stay cool!

Love,
Bart and Ruby

Thank you, Miss Creekhiker for the beautiful new header!!

Your header *is* very beautiful but I got news for you guys. . .
We think 85 degrees is just WAY, WAY too hot! A good temp is 75!

I guess your measure of how hot it is must be relative to the high temp for the day. In my book 85 deg. is already too hot. Good luck staying cool. Thanks for your prayers for Nina.

Beautiful photo! And beautiful place! I can't believe you live near a place that is so gorgeous! What a wonderful way to start the day! Your Assistant is very nice to take you in the early morning before the heat. Sorry you are having such a bad heat time, hopefully it will leave very soon.

P.S. Thank you for sending my your POTP! It helps, and I appreciate it. :->

THAT is REALLY HOT. I'll bet you could BAKE MILKBONES on those Creek Rocks at that temperature.

It has been so hot here for so long that we have been walking in 100+ temps at night - we had no choice if we wanted a walk. This week is much cooler and we are loving it. Yesterday we even got TWO walks. Bet you enjoyed yours, such a pretty site.

Early mornings are the most perfect time of the day for walkies, or a run with dad, or even just sitting with momma watching sunrise! Kind of magical!

Excellent! Yap, we go on walkies real early in the morning these days too. Way too hot by 10am to do anything but laze around under the air. Beautiful photo of the creek at sunrise! :)

We've had a really hot summer too, so we go hiking by the river a lot - so I can jump in and cool off when I need to. We always go in the early morning because it's cooler and there are fewer other people and dogs about. This looks like a wonderful place!

Garth
