First of all, our furiend Corbin is very, very sick and could really use some Power of the PAW. Just sayin'...

Below is foto evidence as to why
we never get stuffies.

Below is foto evidence as to why
we never get stuffies.
For some reason the humans at our house never thought it was a good idea.
This is is a foto of me and Gizmo when we were
about 8 or 9 months old.
Gizmo's on the left (looking quite smug, I think).
I'm on the right looking, well, interesting...
Weren't we adorable puppies??
~
The Publicist didn't have the presence of mind to photograph the bedroom the night we tore up a down comforter and TWO dog beds while our dad slept.
She kind of freaked-out.
Now that I'm a mature man-dog of 7 and Ruby is a mature 6, we've been very nice to our lobster.
Butt they STILL won't buy us any more stuffies.
Sheesh.
BTW, see that gold cushion on the chair in the first photo? That became Gizmo's personal stuffy. He would carry it around the house in his mouth when he was happy. Which was pretty often. He de-stuffed it gradually over the years and finally finished just before he went to the Bridge.
Oh, and see that stained glass in the front door? Yeah, we broke that by enthusiastically advising the humans that we had visitors.
The humans are enjoying our middle years...
~
Love,
Bart

The pictures just look like you wanted some snow! Or perhaps to be comfortable everywhere. Having stuffing in just one or two chairs seems silly when it could be everywhere.
Your house looks remarkable similar to our house after Lola gets a stuffy!!
And I have the same rule, no stuffies. I wonder why!?!
You really massacred your stuffies!
Bart perhaps you could do a re-enactment of the down comforter and your sleeping dad incident so we get the full picture or what you are truly capable of!
How do they know you did that??? Was there evidence? We think it was probably squirrels!
Sam and Pippen
We are just curious, what the heck did you destuff? We thinks the couch cushin must have just exploded for no known reason. BOL Sniffs, The HoundDogs
I like that there appears to be a towel there for human sitting as it should be... dirty beasts.
Wiggles,
Calhoun
That must be why my mom's motto be "SAY NO TO PUPPIES". The moms has no senses of humors, I swear! Dads sleep thru it but the moms get their unnercoats in a wad ofur it. But did you see my last post? I think I found where some of your stuffie guts ended up. They woz stolened, fur sure.
Well we got to make our presence felt, right?!! Deccy x
It was The Other gold cushion that we tore up...no skirls were involved...
Bwhahahahahahaha...OMD...I am still tryin't o figures out why your mom freaked. It was just a little stuffin'.
Ya'll sure didn't looks likes puppies when you was puppies.
Oh and I had to laugh at da Heartbeats comment.
Puddles
BOL someone was naughty!
Dachshund Nola
We think you looked innocent!! Must have been some other ghosty pup!!
Don't want to blame those pesky squirrels?? mmmm
wags
ernie,sasha,chica,lucas
I wanna come and party at your house. I bet you can still tear it up just like the old days.
Blessings,
Goose
You can always blame it on the squirrels!! BOL Hey I thought maybe the clouds landed in your house!!

Jazzi and Addy
We love the way you are distancing yourself from all that fluff. Good technique.
Our house looked like that the other day....after SHE vacuumed!
Did you get another stained glass window?
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
This so reminds me of the dog we had before Sophie! Used to rip apart EVERYTHING! A sofa once.....
LOL! I looks like you all had some fun redecorating.
Holy Smokes...that's way too much stuffy wuffy. Sophie hasn't done this yet...fingers 'major league' crossed!
Looks like a big snow storm rolled in. You guys are awesome!
Ryker is right - it does look like you had a huge snowstorm inside your house!
My paws are crossed for Corbin.
Love ya lots,
Mitch
Oh my gosh, those pictures bring back memories. I had two beautiful rotties that have both passed away and when they were young they caused some havoc. One day I came home and they had taken the couch seat cushions off and commenced destuffing them. Another day, they partially tore apart a single bed, mattress and box spring and tore up the carpet in the bedroom too. Big puppies can do big damage, LOL. They were very proud of their activity. I was glad when the adult brain kicked in, but I would gladly go back and do it all again (well, most of it anyway) hahaha.
I'm confused...You're BOTH on the left???? Your secretary must be cramming for a big important project! ;-)
I thought it was snow for a second! Bol, brilliant, hope you didn't get into too much trouble ;)
Sending power of the paw too <3
Slobbers
xxxx
It wasn't destroying things...it was creating memories...and we bet the humans are VERY glad to have those! Don't get too settled or you will be wearing plaid pants and voting ultra conservative!
I think your mom is a spoil sport. Either THAT ... OR... she saves all the stuffies fur herself.. I think you should watch her CLOSELY... she is prolly goin in the closet and rippin the guts outta stuffs right paw and left. YEP.. I'll bet THAT is what is going on.
You had better keep an eye on Lobster.. she might take a shine to THAT TOO!!
Oh my goodness!
You guys were like Kaiser! =)
Mom, says that is sooo funny when puppies destroy stuffy!
They have the best time of their lifes!
Sending good vibes to Corbin...
OMD! Did you de-stuff the couch???
Your pal, Pip
Can you hear us cackling over all the miles!!! Those photos are CLASSICS!!!! Oh my goodness...
I'm going to visit Corbin now. I didn't know that there was another update.
Awww, both of you just proved that you were the sweetest rottie puppies!
I'm glad your mom got your pictures and I bet she loves them too.
Good Grief! It looks like it snowed in your living room!
Wow! You two were a force to be reckoned with! Morgan took out a window in our kitchen. If she'd broken a stained glass window Mom would have had some sort of aneurysm!
Interesting is your word, Bart!
Bunny
Aha - now we know where all our snow is!!!! BOL - those photos are ust so funny - what WAS that stuffie - must have been one very big one.
We miss Gizmo:(
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Hey you rotties, All that stuffing is just a little hard for me to take. I wish you could see all my stuffies, I like the squeaker ones and if Mom gets a stuffie with no squeaker, she installs one. I have only destuffed one, because I didn't like it. I have a huge laundry basket full of all my stuffies, and I play them every day.
How can you be proud of a mess like that and get on a NO STUFFIE list to boot. Sorry, sorry.
Stella
Stuffies, I only see the guts. How big was that stuffie. And a down quilt were you hunting for geese?
Sweet William The Scot
How did momma do that?
Benny & Lily
Oh, we did not know about Corbin...we will hope right over there to check in.
The stuffie-rippin'...awesome job! You did us proud!!!
Oh gosh- did you guys really do that?
Thats a lot of stuffing!
Going to visit Corbin now.. and send healing wishes again
love
tweedles
Woot woot! You sure know how to accent a room :) Heehee!
Big hugs,
Sierra Rose
Excellent 'who, me?' looks on both of you. Hope you didn't cut your paws when you broke the stained glass. Mama had a Dane who sliced the tendons in a rear leg going through a sliding glass door [this was years before safety glass in doors was common], so that can be a dangerous activity. We're guessing it's both the years and the gentle influence of Miss Ruby that have calmed you down, Bart.
Jed & Abby
WOW! I am impressed. And I am not easily impressed.
And Gail is gawping at the screen, open mouthed, truly wordless.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Isn't there a prize or some kind of award for dogs that de-stuff so completely and effectively?
Paws crossed for Corbin! Toes and fingers, too!
My Vickie is so greatful that I lived through the stuffy age. I don't think I ever made as big a pile as you guys did though.
That is pretty impressive.
I liked seeing Gizmos toy. I bet you sill miss him a lot.
Bert
Anything that's worth doing, is worth doing right, and you've certainly shown it by this masterpiece! :-) We've never had this happen, but it doesn't mean it won't...Just in case, I'm not showing anyone this picture!! :-) I hope you're having a good and non-destructive Thursday!
Haha! Way to go Bart and Ruby (and angel Gizmo)! Would the humans have any fantabulous memories like these if we were good puppies?
You took down that pretty glass? That's awesome! Mr Piglet did the same with a very old wardrobe (My Typist says it was an antique) by smacking his tail on the glass bits. Irreplaceable HAHA!
Have a great weekend :) x
Wow and I thought I was an allstar destuffer! Bart, you and Angel Gizmo win the Destuffin Olympics I'm thinkin ;D
Glad you're takin care of Lobster. He is rather cute :)
Waggin at ya,
Roo
I know Ruby & Brat, I use to have a really really nice old girl that was wonderful with her toys and NOW~~~~~~~~ ZOIE and everything gets torn UP!!!!!!!!
Now that looks like what I do with any stuffie I can get ahold of! Good job, my friends!
Hi Bart and Ruby, wowza that must have been heaps fun. We can't understand why you aren't allowed any more stuffies. Obviously you enjoy de stuffing activities. Sounds totally unfair to us. We think you ask for some on your next birthday. See ya mates. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
I don`t get stuffies either. For the same reasons.
I don`t get stuffies either. For the same reasons.
Oh my goodness! I thought I was a champion de-stuffer but your pictures take the cake!!!
Perfected the "Who me?" relaxed innocentlook so quickly..I almost believe you must have been sleeping on the couch when the neighbour's cat came in an did this..Nice work guys xx
Wow.. those pictures are super. That looks like major stuffie fun.
pawhugs, Max
I hope there were some lamb chops in there for you because it looks like sheep got sheared in that room! Thanks for visiting Cabana's blog. Good luck to you in Mango Minster. I think you deserve to win!!
BOL! You pups rock! Your living room looks like mine after my human brought me home from adopting me. Good-bye sofa pillows! BOL! I did not get stuffies for a while after that either, but now when I get them I have no interest in them. Odd how that worked out. :->
Breaking the stained glass sounds scary. Hope you pups were not hurt. I know your humans think you have calmed down in middle age but I bet you still have some crazy fun left inside you!
Suka
OMD I think you two look too cute surveying the damage. Hugs Madi
Oh my goshies!! That's A LOT of stuffing!! :)
Woofs & hugs, <3
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
We have to enjoy spring now b/c we will not have these flowers in the SPRING!!!
Zoie ~~~~~ no stuffies for her either!!!
xx. Zoie & Fern
Clearly your publicist doesn't appreciate enthusiasm. That's probably because the housemaid never shows up to deal with the enthusiasm's aftermath.
But you were adorable puppies!
Are you related to Zola the Rhodesian Ridgeback? She's done stuff like that.
Love and licks, Winnie
Oh my goodness I just found this blog. I am owned by a beautiful rottie too. His name is Dasko. I love the pictures. Dasko is my 3rd rottie and my first male. He is a love as were the other two.Love this! Thank you for the smiles. I guess we can all identify with these pics.
betty, Through My BacK Door.
Hi Y'all,
I used to be really, really tough on toys too. I never get stuffies and never get to play with toys except under supervision. I'm 5 yrs old, soon to be 6 yrs so the Humans trust me not to tear the house apart. When I was younger it was crate time if they went out.
Oh, and don't tell my Humans but I have made a crack in the glass in our front door. :( I'm always charging the door when we get company. Unless of course my Human is right there to correct me. :(
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
We get beautiful stuffies for Christmas and they just sit in a drawer because I can't bear to watch them get disembowelled. I keep thinking, maybe the next foster dog will be gentle with toys! No luck yet.
Yep, that's why I'm not allowed a stuffie, but I've never done a stripping in such a grand scale as you've done!!
My living room looks very similar to this at any given time. When do the middle years start? Beryl is 5 and Frankie will soon be 4. Do I have to wait much longer for a stuffie-innards-free home? Frankie specialises in destroying technological things, remote controls, cell phones, landline phones (all plural you will notice) so far we have avoided any glass destruction.
My pit Motley did that all the time, pillows, comforters, his dog beds....i think he just like gettin new stuff all the time
I got a box in the mail today from the two of you. Thank you, thank you so much for the beautiful book! Mom is going to read it to me and we'll be blogging about it very soon.
You guys are so thoughtful and kind.
Love ya lots,
Mitch
