So It's been pretty hot here in SoCal. Last week it was TOO HOT TO WALK!!
After 3 days of no walks, mom got a brilliant idea:
It was the best!! I never swam in a concrete pond before and I got to swim WITH MY MOM!!
We went back and forth in the water, and when I decided to try to save her from drowning, her friend gave me a tennis ball to put in my mouth so I'd quit trying to save mom with my teeth ;-)
At the end, I was bushed!
And you know what they say about a tired dog...

I can't wait to go again. Next time Bart and Ruby are going to get to go also. Mom thinks it would be good for their Arthur-itis. I think it's good for everything!!

Two summers ago, Küster was put on crate rest for weeks because of his pano (which is like extreme growing pains) and Mom and Dad thought we'd all go crazy. They realized he was on crate rest because they didn't want any jarring of his bones and joints, so they took him to the lake and let him go swimming. He loved it and they took him out there often to preserve everyone's sanity!

Such fun!!! We get that same thing about a tired pup is a good pup here. We have never been in a pool, or a lake, or the ocean - bet it is fun.

you look adorable swimming and snoozing.. our vet said Jake should swim for his hips and not run, but he sinks like a rock and hates he water....you would love our pool, it is two steps from the backdoor
OMD, you was in a concrete pond with no mud and rawks and sticks and stuffs and it was not like getting a baf? I has nefur heard of such a thing but looks like fun times fur sure. And if'n it kicks that Arthur Itis in the behind, hey, count me in!
That is totally awesome! We wish we knew someone with a concrete pond! Alas, we will have to live with our somewhat distant but not too far away regular pond.... That looks like fun, though. I think we may have to drag Mom to our local pond!

I can see it would be just grand swimming in all that water. We have them here, they are called lakes and no concrete on the bottom. You might catch some fish there too.
