Our Turtlenecks

So a few weeks ago we bought a raffle ticket over at Love and a Six Foot leash for a chance to win these TWO awesome turtlenecks.  And guess what?  WE WON!!

 Gizmo in green and gold

Ruby modeling the purple and gold

Well, now Emily, who donated the turtlenecks is going to be selling some more, along with beautiful doggie sweaters that her mom HAND KNITS as a fundraiser for a certain beautiful elderbull, by the name of Ginger Rogers, whom she is fostering.  You can read about the fundraiser here.  You can order any color combo and any size!  Really.  Not many things come in rottweiler size.  Just sayin.' Go check them out.  You'll be helping a beautiful girl.

Our photos don't really do them justice, but the turtlenecks are gorgeous, stretchy and very comfortable.  We LOVE wearing them!  You know you need one.  Or two...

~

On Sunday, When Kodiak from The Thundering Herd went to the Bridge, he sent us a messege when he met up with our Allie girl.  Here it is:

Sibes and rottweilers...they never do anything in a small way.

We know they are running free together.

Rowdy or Boxer would wear a coat when he was little in the winter time... once he put on muscle though he just didn't want a coat on. Now Izzy is in the same boat... tiny and short hair and not enough body fat or muscle to keep her warm. She has adjusted to wearing her coat since it keeps her from shivering on 45 degree mornings. Love these turtle necks!

Stylish wraps indeed! Our fashionista, Nuka, is drooling at the thought of them...or a sweater.

Message was beautiful sent and gratefully received. Run free Kodiak and Allie.

Thank you for sharing where you got them, I love them!

Yes we were sad for Mr Kodiak but we do know that he is running free with many angels up there.

Very nice turtlenecks! And good models too.

What a nice message from the Bridge!

A double rainbow, too, signaling the beauties are all together. In such sad times, we must look to the signs to help us move on, as difficult and painful as it is.

Gizmo and Ruby sure do look gorgeous in their turtleneck collars!!!

Extra Husky hugs to Gizmo and hopes that he is staying strong.

You look awesome in turtlenecks. I wonder if a Lab would look as good?

I love your rainbow photo. So sad about Kodiak...

Beautiful rainbow from Kodiak and

I think the rainbow is a iniversal language that we all understand, and when our furries send us the message,, we know their words are solid gold.

I love your turtle necks. Such beautiful colors,,, such a nice job!

Well those turtlenecks do look very swish on you guys. The only clothing items I will wear are bandanas (and I only tolerate those for a minute of two) but I wish your friend good luck with her knitwear sale.

You are styling for sure. Never seen a rottie with a turtleneck before. So cute. We sure wish we would see a rainbow to know Cleo made it, but we have seen some other signs so we know she is at least watching over us. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

What's better than a rainbow when you need a sign? A double rainbow, of course. What a beautiful moment to commemorate a deeply moving event.
