Catching Up

A week or so ago we were awarded the Inspirational Blogger Award by Greyhounds CAN Sit!

Or should we say "Greyhounds CAN Dance"?  Because Beryl and Frankie rose to Honey's challenge and they both preformed a freestyle dance routine in Honey's contest "Dancing With the Doggie Stars" last month.  They both looked like they were having so much fun and Mom was very impressed with their mom's willingness to "give it a go" as they say in OZ...

We've been thinking a lot about who inspires us.  We really feel like all the bloggers we follow inspire us in one way or another by opening a small window into their lives and sharing it with the rest of us.  Each day we smile, laugh, cry, learn something, are moved by a beautiful photograph or someone's kind or astute comment.  Each of you has inspired us in one way or another - so we click the "follow" button and keep coming back.

Honey inspired 30 dance teams to try freestyle dance for the first time;
KB inspires us almost daily with jaw droppingly beautiful photographs of her world;
Wild Dingo gave us probably our biggest laugh with this post;
The OP's inspire us with their kindness to everyone;
Tank inspires us by just telling it like he sees it.  Oh, wait, sorry, The Doggie Lama...
And Miss Fern inspires us just because she does!

THANK YOU from all of us!!

And remember, my friends...

"My blood smells like cologne.

I AM the most interesting dog in the world..."

(And just in case you don't know WHAT I'm talking about, here's a link to the Most Interesting Man in the World ad campaign.)

Keep walking, my friends!

Congratulations on your award! We're starting to think you might be the most interesting man in the world, but you're going to have to get some Sibe floof and make yourself a mustache first. That post still cracks us up, too! ;)

I loved the picture of the three of you. Maybe someone was cooking dinner?? Or maybe getting the leashes for an outing.
We eat hot peppers everyday b/c they are so good for you!! At first no seeds but now a few years into eating them all the time we like the heat!!
Have a good one, Fern

Wow. i'm so touched! However, i have to say you have 3 of the most adorable muses of your own that probably provide PLENTY of inspiration! Ruby's heart butt alone inspires many poems, quotes, and comic strips!

blood that smells like cologne? yup, i'd say that beats poop that smells like... err... roses.

I'm glad you posted a link to the video as I was rather mystified by the posts:) Although I agree that Bart is the most interesting dog in the world! Maybe Bart needs to be the next 'most interesting dog in the world' instead of that man, who doesn't look nearly as interesting as Bart.

I love other people's blog rolls and will be going to check out those I don't know who you chose to pass on your award to:)

Thank you so much for the "happy for you" today. You are so right. The best thing in the world is to be loved truly loved and it is as good as it gets when it has been for 29 years. Some of us seam to need that special love. Most people don't find it except from your dog!! I have had it from all my dogs and my Hubby. As good as it gets!!!
You three are so tempting!!! I would love to know and love on you three!! Often!!!!
xx, Fern

I can not express it in English. But the words are true to the inspiring blogs around the world. Every day we look into a small window, all over the world. We learn from each other and we inspire each other. The world has become smaller through the internet. We are all very close.
Congratulations on your award

Thanks for the energy..we can sure use it! Quinn is feeling better now that the wound is draining and he is high on painkillers. YoYoMa is trying VERY hard to ignore his brother which for now, I guess, is a good thing. Keep that zen coming, we so appreciate it!
