Thankful on Thursday

"No sign of cancer!"  

That's what Dr. Sarah said that the radiologist found.  Something is going on, as Bart continues to limp and favor his left forepaw, but, hey!  We can continue rimadyl and robaxin for a while longer.  

He's much happier - coming to knock my hand off the mouse when it's "TIME!!" for our brief w.a.l.k.  What a relief!

Beautiful K - of Romping and Rolling in the Rockies - has gone to the Bridge.  She and her family have fought a brave fight against osteosarcoma.  We hate osteosarcoma.  We dream of a day when it no longer exists.


Please go visit K's family and leave them a note. K was a very special dog.

Feeling Better

Seriously.  Ever since you all sent me that POTP on Friday I've been feeling better.  I'm limping a little less and not dragging my paw, and my back legs are both working like they should.  I still only get to go for little shorty walks, but we got knuckle bones today so all is well.  

She's SO mean.  I really miss my hikes with Mabel Lou and Miss Creekhiker :-(

And with my silly furiend Hank, who doesn't want anyone to touch his feet and who had a sticker in his paw!!

BOL!!  Seriously, he's hiding his paws so his mom can't check them for stickers!  See what I'm missing?!?

Good News!!

"The preliminary results look good!!"

 That's what Dr. Sarah told mom on the phone. 

Thank you so, so much for sending Bart the power of the Paw.  

The radiologist will read Bart's x-rays on Wednesday, butt there was no evidence of

the evil "C".

POTP Request for Bart

Bart is at the VET right now having x-rays.  A few weeks ago he jumped off the big bed and let out a cry.  We thought he tweeked his neck again -- he has that pinched nerve issue -- but after acupuncture and lots of different meds he's still limping.  

It's his left forelimb.  Limping dogs freak us out, and seeing Bart gimping around like Gizmo did with his osteosarcoma, we're a little un-nerved.  

We've been very brave and matter-of-fact about all of this, but since dropping him off at the vet this morning, we realized it would really help to know that we had the POTP surrounding Bart during his x-rays. 

Just say NO to the evil "C".
