Bart's Birthday Comment-a-thon!!

Hi Everybody!!
 
 
It's ME, Ruby!  
I wanted to let you all know that this Sunday,
December 4, my handsome big brother,
BART turns 7!   
 


And while we'll be celebrating by doing all
our usual birthday stuff, like
hiking, and getting treats and maybe getting
a special surprise,
we're gonna be sad, too, cuz it would have been
Gizmo's birthday, too.  

We're very sad that he didn't even make it to 7.

Then Bart had this really good idea!!

We found out that our my friend Chubs who we
couldn't rescue because Bart's a wusie has
a fractured pelvis and will need to have surgery.

We thought that since we couldn't help Gizmo get better from his sickies, maybe we can help
Chubs feel better before he goes to his
most perfect home that ever was.

SO, in honor of Bart and Gizmo's Birthday
we're gonna have a 
comment-a-thon
to raise some money for Chubs's surgery.
for every comment left on our blog from 
Saturday, 12/3 at 7:00 AM through
Sunday, 12/4 at 7:00 PM
we will donate $1.00 to 
to help the Chubmeister!

    Ruby, I wouldn't miss Bart's birthday for anything! Mom and Dad have to be gone a lot that afternoon, but I will not let them forget to let me drop by for a visit.

    Chubs is a lucky guy! Just not as interesting as The Most Interesting Dog in the World!

    Thank you for your visit to our blog and your kind words about our play-ground!!     What a super awesome AMAZING way to celebrates Bart's birthday!! I'm so sorry that Gizmo isn't gonna be here to celebrate in pawson but I bet he's gonna be pawdancing at the Bridge over the Most Wonderful and Generous thing you're doing.

    And guess what? Sunday is my dad's birthday, too! There sure were a lotta good souls born on that day.

    OK, I'm not funny, but how about our first Mastiff, Sarge? When Jeffrey was about a year old, wheeling around in his walker one day, he grabbed Sarge's bowl of puppy chow, hauled it up on the tray of his walker, and took up sharing with Sarge: one little round brown thing for Jeff, and one for Sarge. The kid was very slimy, but he only ate one or 2 puppy chows. And since he grew up to be 6'5", 230 pounds, it looks like it didn't hurt him any.

    Birthday love to Bart, and in memory of darling Gizmo, too. Hope Chubs (AKA Thor 2) does well with his surgery.
