Wordy Wednesday With Gizmo

Hi Everybody!  Thank you all for keeping me in your thoughts and sending me positive Power of the Paw.  I can definitely feel the love.

I feel so grateful for all the kindness that's come my way from all of you other blogging dogs and kittehs.  It feels really good to know that you care about me.
My dogtor switched my pain meds so I'm taking tylenol with codeine along with my gabapentin.  It makes me less sleepy than my tramadol did and helps with my pain better.  It's kind of hard for me to walk very far but I go in my way back yard a couple of times a day and that makes my humans very happy. I walk back into the house all waggy and smiley!

I may get to have some acupuncture for my pain and for my immune system if my humans can get the vet to come to our house to do it.  They don't want to transport me in the car, cuz apparently I could easily break my leg where the tumor is and that could be very, very bad...

Yesterday I got to sit out on the front lawn in the sun and admire the view.  That was a real treat.  We'll take pictures so you can see me soaking up the rays California-style.

So that's about it.  I just really wanted to thank all of you for all your nice comments and thoughts.  You are the best!

Love,
-Gizmo

  5. Hi Gizmo, you are doing so well big fella. Glad your meds are working. Don't worry about walking too far, that's what family is for, to wait on you hand and foot!

If your leggie gets too sore, just hop if you can. Our angel brother Oscar hopped for a really long time and he got around fine and was very happy.

You just sit back and enjoy yourself. Mum sends you extra love and a hug cause she says you are beautiful. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  56. Always thinking of you Gizmo. The Pawcircle of strength & hope is going strong on Twitter for you with all paws joining to bring you strong days and less pain. Keep soaking up the sunshine - it's nature's medicine!

  57. Oh Gizmo - I'm sorry I'm late but I just wanted to say how much I admire you for keeping your spirits up. You are the most amazing doggie! You are in our thoughts constantly - even though we are on the other side of the world from you. I really hope your humans will find a good vet who can do the acupuncture thing for you and make you feel better. And I'm pleased the weather is good where you are so you can enjoy the "outdoors" without even having to go far! :-) I hope your humans are OK - I know it must be a really tough time for them too, especially your Mom, and yet she still goes around all the blogs and remains so upbeat and supportive of others - we really admire her.

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane
ps, if you get time, please come and check out my latest post (Ask Honey #11) - because it concerns a Rottie and Hsin-Yi didn't feel that she was entitled to say too much since she doesn't have much experience of Rotties but she thought it might be good for you to educate the lady & share what Rotties are like and need from their families!!
