Sunday Selfie on Monday

this is my special Beach-Dog smile!

Hi Everybloggy!  Otto here...Sorry we've been MIA.  I've been really busy going to the beach, going on my Jungle Cruise hike, hanging with my girls...Butt you know, it's just never enough.  Somehow mom thinks she should be working and that makes me SO bored!  

The other thingy is that Ruby has been pretty sick.  Her megaesophagus makes her barf several hours after she eats and then mom has to race Ruby to clean up the barf.  There are towels in the washer and dryer ALL the time and Ruby can't seem to kick her pneumonia.  She has a new, stronger anty-biotic, which, if she can keep it down long enough, should kick the pneumonia in it's butt...

The other stress for mom is that our vet, Dr. Sarah, left the practice right near our house and so we've been seeing Dr. Ann who comes to our house!!  Unfortunately for us and fortunately for Dr. Ann, she is on Vacy up in the Peuget Sound cruising around in boats visiting with ORCAS!!  How cool is that?  Well, not very, in case Ruby needs IV meds or fluids or something.  I'm telling mom to get in touch with Dr. Sarah, and that maybe Ruby is going to have to leave the 'hood to get the care she needs right now.  Sheesh, mom...

Well, mom says I barfed all over the blog, butt I just wanted to tell you all what's been going on.  I'm great - no more visits from the seizure monster, and I'm getting to have lots of fun.  If you can send some POTP to Ruby, we'd really like it, cuz our house smells like barf.

    Poor Ruby - we are so sorry to hear she is so sick. We don't know enough about her problem to be able to offer any good ideas, but we sure do send her lots and lots of POTP and our big sibe vibes for her to feel better. Seems like everytime we find a vet we really like, they move to another practice tooL(

    I am saying a prayer for you Ruby, right now.. I pray that you will kick that pewmonia in the butt and your sick stomach will settle and let those antibiotics work. so sorry to hear you are still sick.

    It is good that you have been getting to the beach! It is not good that Ruby is sick. Many licks and wags to her, and we hope her medicine works and she gets better soon!

    We are sending lots of pug POTP for Ruby, we hope the new medicine helps.
    We know it is hard when the vet you are used to leaves. But how nice to have some come to your house, at least when she is not on vacay!

    Why you got some POTP coming your way right now. Ruby please get better fast and please keep the medicine in your tummy so the nasty
    pneumonia goes away. And let the washer keep doing its thing. Praying you won't need any IV's while the vet is on a vacation.

    I hope the new anti-pee-otics will help Ruby and I cross my paws that the pneumonia will run away like the wind now... and I hope efurrything is fine while your vet is on howl-i-day with that Peugeot sound (pawsome, she can drive on the water with a french car, yay!)

    We've been out of cell and internet range for a couple of weeks so our POTP is a bit late. I'm so sorry about that. But, we are sending the strongest power of the paw that we possibly can, hoping that Ruby is getting better. Big hugs to all of you.
