Bo-'Bama Care?

Dear Bo,

I recently went to see a specialist Vet-human.  Did you know medical care for us canines is REALLY EXPENSIVE?  Especially us big doggies.

So I was wondering, do you have
BO-'Bama Care???  If so, sign me up.

Thanks,

Bart von Weiler
California

  1. Good luck Bart.
Paying vet bills for my dog has really made me appreciate our National Health Service...

  8. We used to have pet insurance but found that if we just have a savings account of our own for pet care it worked out to be a better deal.

  28. Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh Bart - that's hilarious!

But yes, as a fellow BIG doggie - vet bills is certainly no laughing matter! My humans have pet insurance for me but I'm on a special list of breeds that has extra high premiums. Sigh. Still, they're glad they've got it coz it has paid for itself several times over, especially since I've gotten older and with my glaucoma & heart sickies./

  35. Put me on that list too! hehe. When I first came out of the shelter I was a treasure chest full of ailments :P Poor animals out there are dying because their owners can't afford to get their pets treated :( I'm thankful for all of the animals in blogworld who are able to share pieces of their lives through pictures and words. May they stay healthy and their owners too :D

  36. Bart, what a great idea! You know when you have vet responsibilities for an entire Army, a little insurance would go a long way...I am going to get momma to write to our Congressmen!
