Almost Wordless Wednesday...

'Chubs'
SHE got an e-mail yesterday saying that Mr. Chubs had made it to Big Sky Rottweiler Rescue in Wyoming.
They said that he's settling in well, and they agreed with our assessment that Chubs is a bit dominate that Bart is a wimp... and will look to place him either with a female or as an only dog. I put him right in his place, you know...
He was getting checked out by the vet yesterday.
Our paws are crossed that this beautiful boy finds the perfect forever home.

In the event that Bart and I escape capture by the flashy beast in adorable holiday wear,

Happy Thanksgiving to our
Blogville family.

We are very grateful to have you in our lives.
-Ruby & Bart

  17. I'm so sorry that Chubs didn't work out. But from my experience, and believe me, I have a lot of it. When you least expect it, the stars will align and there will be someone very special that will fit right into the pack.

  32. Hee! Hee! Oh, yes, us girls are ALWAYS the boss! HA! HA! You should see me with male Danes - I mean, I know I'm a pretty big girl but my brothers weigh like 90kg (nearly 200lbs) - they make me look dainty! (we come from a BIG family!) - but they're total big doofuses! I weigh about 45lbs less than them but I can run rings around them!! :-)

Anyway, I actually popped over to say thank you for your lovely comment and to wish you Happy Thanksgiving too! We don't celebrate it here Down Under but I know what a big deal it is in America and I was really touched to be called an "honorary American"!! :-) My human says she's going to get me some shaved roast turkey ham from the supermarket today in honour of your special holiday!

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane
