Allow me to introduce myself....

By Osa

Hi Everybody!  I'm Osa.  My new brother Otto talked a bunch of smack about me, so I thought I should do my own post.  First of all, it's nice to meet you!  And thank you all for being so welcoming.

My coming here was a complete surprise to me.  I am a year and a half old and my previous owner had to move away to someplace called Wyoming.  I couldn't go, butt no one told me.  Last week a lady came to my house and dognapped me like that Cruella de Ville lady.  She brought me to a strange house with a strange man who was very nice to me, and a big brother.

I didn't like the lady very much cuz she stole me from my real family, but since I got here, Otto has said that they wanted me here very much and that it was not possible for me to go back to my other family.  I was sad and angry.  It's a big adjustment for a little girl.  They seem pretty nice, though, and the food is really good!

Otto has been nice about sharing his toys with me, and I've gotten to go on something called "hikes" with other dog friends called an "extended pack."

this is me getting my paws wet for the first time....
Otto can be a little touchy about new little doggies trying to take a cookie out of his mouth or scoop up crumbs he's dropped.  I mean SHEESH!

I have already had a litter of puppies, so soon I'm going to be getting my big girl surgicals.  I also have something on my eye that needs to be fixed.

After one week, I think this might just be a pretty good place for me.  Butt they don't like it when I put my paws on the kitchen counter.  C'mon.  Really?

Nice meeting all of you.  I hope to get to know everyone better.

~ Osa

Welcome to your new (and very nice) new home. Otto is a good guy - we are sure his smack talk is just that - talk. He is most likely very happy to have another furry to share his life. Misty tries to get her paws on the counter too, but she is still too little:)

Hi Osa! We can vouch for Otto - he's a good guy! Although as an older sibling, I can understand his desire to talk smack about one's younger companions - we have to keep ourselves mentally agile to keep up with you youngsters!

Hi Osa, great to hear from you and I am confident you'll be very happy in your new home. Company, great food and lots of hikes? That's well worth putting up with a few petty rules about paws on counters isn't it?

Pee Ess Since you are a year and a half old then you must know about Christmas and Santa. Santa only comes for us Dogs if we're GOOD, so maybe you shouldn't put your paws on the counter anymore. Just sayin'...

Hi Osa and Otto! (You might want to know I won a contest to give OTTO his NAME, IS THAT COOL OR WHAT) My Mom Jo got the credit for it, but its our plumbers name and he is a good ear scratcher. He is about 350 years old in dog years, but I like him and thats why I picked his name.

My Mom has been totally slack in meeting and greeting in the dog blog. She says she is gonna improve but that is one of her favo- rite lines so we will see about that.

In the meantime you are the luckiest pup I could imagine being in the Rottrover House, nothing but TLC, good food, nice bed and a brother-buddy named OTTO! Which your name goes perfect with! I love perfect stuff, don't you, Osa? By the way, I'm a girl too and if you want to ever talk girl stuff, get on the e-mail.

Cheers, Stella and her Mom Jo

Hi Osa, you are one pretty doggie and I just love your pink necklace. I'm sure everyone above here has told you how lucky you are to have ended up with Otto and his mom and dad. His mom is OK, really. She blogs and helps Otto with his blog posts too. Just wait til I tell my two dogs about you. My boy Samson will be besides himself, but warning here, he has a girlfriend. She lives on the East coast so it's a virtual thingy. But still, just to let you know. And welcome to Blogger land.

OMG! Squeeeeeeeeeee! Nice to meet you Osa! I'm so sorry it took so long to drop by. I'm so glad your new Momma got a picture of your bottom. Because woo know, lots of people like heart-butts!

And you're so tiny. All you all Rottie? You're so little. How old are you? You seem so young to have had a liter already. That's just wrong for a wee girl who hasn't had time to sow her oats so to speak... Unless you are older than I think woo are.

As for Otto... don't you worry. You'll have him wrapped around your pawsie in no time, you'll be able to take anything he has w/o a snort from him. Of course I bet your momma will teach you better manners too... I sometimes have to referee when Juicy takes Loki's bonsie from him (he's learned not to fight her for fuhds but he goes to Momma to get his bonsies and treats back from her for him!)

You are adorable! You two can be O2! R2-O2! Haha!
