When it starts to get hot here, the hot air from the desert sucks the cool air from the ocean inland in the mornings just after the sun comes up. We used to call it fog, but now it's called the "marine layer." I love how from above it looks like waves breaking on shore.
It looks like Riley is sticking her tongue out at Otto. She's got him wrapped around her paw!
This is a blog hop. Show us the beauty! Thanks, Sugar!
Those Clouds/Fog/Marine Layer... what EVER they are called... look BEAUTIFUL against the Chocolate Color of the Hills in the background.
ReplyDeleteLove the Tongue and the PLAY...
SO GOOD TO SEE OTTO having a good time with a furend... LOVE THAT.
I bet it feels really good too. Moist cool air and an early morning stroll.
ReplyDeleteWe love that 'marine layer'. It's cool. But happy dogs have to win every time when it comes to beautiful.

ReplyDeleteEarly morning fog brings out something primitive in the soul...it is both beautiful and magical...as are happy dogs!
ReplyDelete'Marine layer' is a bit dull, is think. In Aberdeen the coastal fog is called 'haar'.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, anyway.
Toodle pip!

ReplyDeleteOh you will not believe this, but yesterday I was out in the town and met a young lady and her ... ROTTWEILER... he was a big, beautiful boy and had been playing in the sea so was all wet and sand and keen to cuddle - and I came looking to see if you had posted lately. Nothing yesterday but here you are today!!!
These are beautiful pics indeed; here at Dunoon the 'haar' comes in regularly but I am always IN it, never above! Have a fantabulous weekend. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

ReplyDeletethink Otto will take Riley's "statement" with humor... he is a gentledog :o)

We like going for walks when the marine layer is there in the morning. We met a very nice Rottie named Ooshe. Not sure of the spelling but it means Bear we think in German. She really liked meand baby Louie.
