Fabulous Franken-Friday

Look at this!!  And right before our Christmas photo-shoot!!

I had to have 3 lumpies removed.
All BENIGN!!!

Yay!  One of the best words in any language!!!

I've been resting...and I can't go swimming till I get these franken-staples out of me.  URGH!!  It's been raining though and I HATE to get my furs wet in the rain.  I think we get to take a shorty before mom has to work tomorrow...I hope so.  You can only snooze so much.

~~~
In other news...
Last Friday we got to go to the beach with our friend Wizard!  It was warm and sunny and gorgeous at home.
This is what the beach looked like:
It was SO foggy we couldn't even see any little dogs
who might try to sneak up on us...
My silly sister went IN THE OCEAN!!
She chased Wizard when his mom threw his toy.  Not me. No way.
Too NUTTY as Benny and Lily would say!!
BBBUUUURRRRRRR!!!
We were glad to get home.  Butt then on Sunday we had to get BATHS!!
Something about a photo shoot, but now I look like Franken-Weiler.
Sheesh!
At least I'm still interesting!
Love,
-Bart
  1. Glad we are getting the news AFTER the fact or we would have been freaking out ( as we assume your Mom was). So good to hear all is well.
    We have been hearing about all that rain out there and hoping our human brother will be OK on the roads. He has a very long commute these days and nights.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
  2. Glad the bumps were benign! Some clever prop positioning, or a Christmas sweater should hide your naked shoulder. :-)
  5. So glad the lumpys were not the bad ones. I don't like to be out in the rain either, make MOM hold an umbrella over me if I have to go out. She is pretty well trained. I hope your boo boo's heal up real soon. And if your photo shoot involves Santa Paws put in a good word for me.
    Have a great weekend.
  6. Hey Bart! Hooray for three benigns that are worth a billion bucks each! We are very happy for you.
    I love it that your fearless sister charges into the ocean to play ball. She is one cool girl.
  7. Now Bart, you be super careful now and make sure that those wounds heal nicely so there are no more visits to the vet.
    We are well accustomed to sea fog in Aberdeen, we call it 'haar' and the customers for Mr Trump's swanky new golf course (Bill Clinton coming in the spring, we're told) will be getting used to it too...
  11. I think you should proudly display your franken-staples in your photo as a celebration that all is okay! I know how it is to worry about these things.
    PS: I think the beach is beautiful in any weather, but when it's cold, I love it from a distance! :-)
  13. Bert,
    Momma just kept staring at that beach photo of you posing so well. She says you are "magnificent!" That kind of hurts my feelings. What is it with you boxy headed dogs and my momma?
    Your staples are really cool. So glad the bumps were benign.
