I'm Just Too Darned Cute!! by Ruby

Please accept this post as my official entry into Mango Minster, 2012:

We rottie girls have a reputation for being intimidating guard dogs who will risk life and limb to protect our families and properties.  Well, not me.

I spend most of my time on the bed or the couch.  If I do bark, it's from a "down" position.  I mean, why get hysterical...right?!?  Anyhoo,

Please review the following exhibits.  I hope that you come to the same conclusion as just about anyone who has met me -- that I'm just too darn cute!!

 First of all, this is my "wanted poster".  It's my adoption poster that Mom saw when she fell for me...


 This is my first Gotcha Day picture.  Puddles and Bunny aren't the only ones who look pretty in pink...

    You sure are a cutie, Ruby. I am a little partial to Rottie type girls as my Nina has some of that in her DNA and we were previously owned by a petite rottie girl just as cute as you. Good luck in the competition. That category is a tough one.

    you are giving big fearsome guard dog rotties everywhere a bad name. wearing pink? a turtleneck? sleeping with a LOBSTER?!! everyone knows they're only just good for eating.

    does this mean you're a competitor [if My Typist gets her act together and checks out The Mango]? now i'm afraid. maybe i'd best skip the embarassment ;)

    My mommy is THE biggest softie for Rotties! in fact...it was when my mommmy's 185 pound Rottie went to the rainbow bridge that he took her heart with him. Three years later, my mommy saw me and i both look and act EXACTLY like him. I am mommy's 5 pound tick-tack version of her Rottie (wiht a pointy schnoozle of course). I even have floppy ears like you!

    Yes you are just too darn cute...and the photos of you melted my mommys heart!

    Gretchen here. Good thing I have little feet and can type; Mama's all bubbling and babbling about her nephew Simon, the Rottie love of her life. (She loves almost every dog she meets, but I really have heard her talk more than once about the big cousin I never knew.)
