In Other News...

They really ARE cleaning our ponds!!

Yesterday Ruby and I got to go to our ponds. (WOO HOO!! YAY! YAY!!)  When we got there, we saw this big tractor thingy with little boats wwwaaaaayyyy up in the air so no one could use 'em, I guess cuz it was Sunday. 




Then we saw three HUGE dumpsters for them to put all that lettuce stuff in!!


THEN we saw one of our ponds that's starting to get cleaned. We still didn't get to go swimming in our pond cuz the water was all murky from whatever they're doing there.



How cool is that?!  We like it when the humans clean up the mess that they made.

THEN we got to go wading at our wading spot.  The water was all clear and cool.   


We were ready for a fun day!!

    I went swimming today too only mine was a nasty icky swamp thing....Your area looks so much nicer. Thank goodness the river was close by so I could wash off the slime so My Vickie would let me come home. I dont' get it. I like slime.....

    I am very very much glad that your favorite pond is gettin cleaned OUT... Stupid peeps and their bad behavior. I hope it doesn't happen again.

    OMD, they is cleaning up the lettuce (BLECH) in the pond just fur YOU? Now you can has room to swim again. That lettuce woz squeezing you out.

    Cool equipment - those big cranes around here hoist up lots of expensive equipment at night and over the weekends to protect them from theft.

    Great that they are cleaning the pond for you. Hope you get to use it soon.

    What a great pond. We have a pond that we walk by but Mom says "NO" to swimming in it. I say that is okay, because I don't like swimming anyway. We hope the get the bigger pond all cleaned up so you can enjoy it more. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

    That is SO super awesome that they're cleaning that out so you'll have a nice clear pond to swim in. I still thinks it's awful dangerous to get wet - no matter how clean the water is. But I'm awfully glad you had fun!

    Wow – those tractor machines are enormous!! But it looks like they did a great job – your pond looks beautiful! How nice that they cleaned it up for you. Let you couldn't wait to go swimming again as soon as possible! That water is so clear – it looks amazing!
